Privacy Policy

We do not collect, store or share any personal data. The app contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no user accounts. There is no server we could send your data to.

CamDrop talks only to your camera, over the camera's own Wi-Fi network (a local network). Photos and videos go from the camera to your device — and nowhere else.

Local Network — needed to reach the camera on its Wi-Fi network.

Camera — used only to scan the Wi-Fi QR code shown on the camera screen. The images captured by the camera view are not stored.

Photos — add-only access, used to save the files you import.

For each camera you connect, CamDrop saves its Wi-Fi network name, password and model in your device's Keychain, so you can reconnect in one tap. The counter of free imports is kept there too.

If iCloud Keychain is turned on, Apple syncs these items between your devices signed in with the same Apple ID — this is how a camera saved on your iPhone appears on your iPad. iCloud Keychain is end-to-end encrypted: neither we nor Apple can read it. Your photos never go to iCloud or anywhere else. Forgetting a camera in CamDrop removes it from all your devices.

Purchases of CamDrop Pro are processed entirely by Apple. We receive no payment information and no details about you as a buyer.

CamDrop keeps a connection log on your device only. It is shared with no one unless you choose to send it to support. The log contains the camera model and file names — no photos and no passwords.

CamDrop is not directed at children under 13 and, since no data is collected, no data about children is collected either.

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
